Hey everyone! It's Skygirl! (Obviously). And I'm not much of a blogger, but I do like to review things!!! And I really need to vent about The Hunger Games movie. Its spoiler free, I won't say too much, and hopefully it will help you in seeing it or not.
I'm a Hunger Games Fangirl, I'm still not done reading them (I'm on book 3). But still a fangirl, and I'm also pretty open minded and understanding even if I don't like it. So I'll take that into my review.
First off, it'll help if you've read it before seeing it. If you have not read it, you'll still get the story, some details you'll be a bit confused, things are different from the book, but not too different some are understanding. You won't understand a character as well. For readers there are disappointments, but its still a good movie.
The casting was well done, the actor of Peeta was well done and blew me out of the water. He's got the looks, and is a great character. Also, just minor things he did that made you love his character. For example, his face expressions. A look of innocence, and more. If you choose to see it, you'll know what I mean. :) All the looks matched the characters well. Aside from Katniss, I don't think she looks like a Katniss. Well, she sort of does, but its her face. It's too round, it doesn't fit Katniss. I've pictures Katniss more of a slender jaw and you can see where her jaw ends and its more sleek not so round. It just ruined the look for me. If you still don't get it, its hard for me to explain. Also, it is just me does Katniss sound a lot like Natalie Portman? Even somewhat looks like her, didn't click until heard her voice. Obviously Katniss was a disappointment for me. I was hoping the acting would make up for the look issues, but it didn't. She did a pretty good job, she missed some things. I haven't seen her in anything else now I have to look it up. Maybe the director told her to, or its her style I don't know. All the characters had a great look to them put into them. I'm a Cinna fan, for some reason when I read about him, I really liked him. I didn't understand why, I told some friends who read it, and they said because we're both artists. And really supportive ones. I loves seeing Cinna put into the movie, he's such a great character. And all the others as well. So yes, casting is well done! I loved the cast.
Now onto the crew, in this movie it seems that there are no known names, (But I did hear that actress of Katniss got a award of some sort). Its all new people, which I can see that it's a good thing, I liked that. But the camera crew gave me headaches. All fight scenes were shaky, as if the camera man was in below 0 degree weather and in a tee shirt. My friend said its as if they dropped it. Also, sometimes the camera moved too fast, it was hard to see what was going on, it gave me headaches. To me who likes to study film, I found some camera angles odd, but it was new. I like seeing new styles.
Also, the costumes were great, I enjoyed them. Although, the first interview outfits were a disappointment, the big part of them that makes them amazing didn't look as good as they were told, more should have been added. So that was quite a bummer. It didn't look that epic like it should. Just for all you book .readers out there, don't be too bummed. The visual with makeup was well done. Effie looked like a female Johnny Deep as the Mad Hatter. XD That's who she reminded me of. Haymich was sooooo well done with his looks!! Just perfect!!!
The Directing, that ones is the hardest to tell. I can't tell if Katniss' acting part with 0% emotion is the actress or the director. I know the character is almost no emotion, but sometimes there isn't enough at some parts where there are she still seems too blank.
I'll get over this over time, I know it.

The World of Video Editing, Views, Complains, Misunderstanding
I'm almost never on here now, not like I was on much in the first place. I feel unwanted here, to be honest. I don't think I am much of a blogger here, I post a lot of journals on Deviantart, but I can't ever keep track of features and such. Like doing some sort of blog post everyday of the week, I'd be able to do then fall off of. And well, due to things I will not talk about I am shivering with cold, but mostly I'm nervous.
But I am here now. :) I'm here to well what I seem to do on here most, is try to fix issues.
I've been on YouTube for almost two years, watching for longer. And a lot in the world of video editing has changed. And I've seen too many complaints about it.
People complain that the styles of some editors is not quality videos. That MEP's are a waste, effect tests are pointless, all videos should be full song videos. Also, that effects are meaningless. And I have much to say against it.
Someone who complained about it, clearly doesn't listen to music that goes well with lots of effects. I'm not one to use a overload of effects, but have you made a full effect video? It is FUN!!!!
I will admit, video edits can to overboard with effects, as do I. Video Effects can be fun, but can get out of hand. Sometimes it ruins the video, some people think its too much. To "let the video breathe."
One thing I like about effect videos, is when its used with pop, or dubstep music and when it effects are used to match the music. If Dubstep is used in a video, the effects make it look really good. Here's a example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koTZpNGcM5g&feature=g-user-u Dubstep song, matched the effects. Dubstep has a very strong beat, and certain rythm. Just seeing clips with that, is rather dull. The effects just meld with it.
Sometimes effects can get overboard and don't match the music, I've made some videos like that, sometimes I'm just literary, throwing in effects. Sometimes I spice up the video a bit with them.
With softer music, zoom in's and out's with some color editing, or sparkles really help with the mood. Here's a example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBLmzLM_YAY Yes, its my video, but I thought it fit well as a example if I do say so myself. I used coloring to show more of a mood, matched the beat as much as I could, the lyrics is what I matched the most. I made sure the main video could be seen through sparkles, effects, and so forth. I will admit, it isn't perfect. But my video effects had what? Meaning!!! It showed the meaning of the song more.
So it really depends with effects.
Now, onto MEP's. Them being a waste? And that you do almost nothing? Well, if you are a MEP host, you have to set up the parts, get the download links, get all parts singed off to someone, choosing couples for my newest, allowing in some things or whatnot, waiting for parts to be done in time, rendering video, and so forth. Its hard, yet fun. Different styles into one, some styles don't mix well, but that's rare in MEP's. And that it might destroy my part? No!! Its not just about my part, its teamwork!! It builds friendship, its fun!!
Oh, test videos? You can get good feedback! I've posted some, got good feedback. :) Simple as that.

Don't judge a video by just what you think or see, its rather annoying.

Clone Wars Deception Review
I'll try to write these reviews, but I'm not very good at them.
And I'm actually being patient, and waiting until the next day to be fair.
If you read my last post, you'll get it.
So, I rather liked this episode. From the preview, I guessed that Obi-Wan was the one being buried. But we all know he doesn't die, unless you've only seen the first two movies and all of TCW when it first happened. But most of us have seen all the movies and such, and well, I read that Obi-Wan was teaming up with Bane and Anakin didn't know and was trying to hunt him down, I saw the preview and guess Obi-Wan faked his death, and I was right. You all owe me a viral cookie now. Kidding. I found it odd to see Obi-Wan without hair, the transformation creeped me out.
It was nice to see Boba again, it was kinda weird to see him with almost no hair though. I liked his hair. And seeing how the jail system was run was interesting too. I also found it rather sad how it was that easy to break out of jail. You'd think there'd be more security systems but no, there wasn't. So the Senate decides to waste money on Clones, and not on proper security? But I'm not saying Clones are a waste, they are far too many made and lack of trying to settle peace without aggressive negotiations.
But now to my favorite part which I saved for last. I just wanted to hug Anakin, I felt so bad for him. He was just so torn apart and seeing Ahsoka tearing up broke my heart. The funeral was quite realistic, it makes me wonder what the fake body was, was it just a dummy? (Pry was) or was it a dead person, like a Clone? I like to get into that detail. It was nice to see Satine, but she was bawling her eyes out.
See? I just can't write reviews even if it was fresh in my mind. Do you want more?

Long time no update
Oh my its been ages since I last posted!!!
I haven't done many MEP's all MEP teams have been very slow. Also, a lot of YouTubers are doing what I call "Free For All MEP's" where someone sets up a MEP and anyone can be part. I did one.
Oh yes, I got 1,000 suscribers!!! Its a HUGE goal!! I'm so happy I'm also clsoe to 1,100 suscribers but I'm 20 away.
I've done some colab's and such.
I'm also pretty busy with work and such. I've also been drawing a lot more. I've improved a lot.\
All for now.

Long time no post
So this'll be a long update.
More MEP team's joined, more MEP's. I went on a vacation and more MEP's piled up and I got really behind I had to drop out of some MEP's and now I have 6 left to do. Once they are done I'm taking a offical MEP break. For a few weeks.
So Galactic Alliance Studios and Free Galaxy Studios (FGS is a new one I made) won't have MEP's for awhile. Sorry but Galactic Alliance Studios has two more MEP's to finish. Once they are done I'll get the next project going.
And for normal vids I'm working on more because I have more idea's, I have a BRILLIANT silly video I got a idea for today. If I didn't have MEP's I would be working on it now.
And 42 more subbies till' 900 YAY!! Please help me reach my goal of 900 soon. I really want to get to 1,000 that would be AMAZING! I'm supprised how many subbies I have now.
One thing I have noticed about my audience is that they LOVE my silly videos. They are really popular and I seem to get A LOT more comments on them plus more suscribers if I post a lot at a time. So I'll work on some of those to reach my goal. One issue I have with that is the happier the audience, the less happy I'll be in ways.
I love to make music vids but they aren't as popular as I'd like them to be. My most viewed video was "Ahsoka Tell me Something I Don't Know" and now it's "Anakin's Got Chosen One Angst" (Last I checked) so in ways that's nice but in others my music vids aren't as popular as I'd like them to be.
I'm working on a few colab's but busy so I haven't finished them. Grr one effecit I want to use ISN'T WORKING RIGHT!!
